100 moments of Supernatural Part 2

Its that time of the week. Another Supernatural 100 moments of video.

Now for some reason I am unable to put this video on my blog like last time (I know, red tape it'll drive you nuts.) But you can watch my beloved video here.

So in the words of 'The sound of music' lets Doe a Dear and Read my explanations of the next 10 moments in Supernatural history.

Number 90:

John giving Little Dean instructions to take care of little Sammy.

Now I put this hear for a couple of reasons, the first and most important reason is that this 'Take care of Sam' is one of the major character traits of Dean. It had been ingrained into him since such a young age. Before Demon deals and angels, before it all hit the fan. Young Dean had the responsibility of taking care of his brother in the way that normally a father would.

Number 89:

Hold me Sam that was beautiful.

This is one of those highly self explanatory moments and why its on the list. Its Dean being Dean and Sam being well season one Sam.

Number 88:

Gotta make a Call.

This is one of those moments that might appear in the rest of the count down that does not have Bobby, Cas or any Winchester featured in them. This moment, him saying that Sam in immune to the Demon Virus set up so much and the answer still is not 100% completely done. But I think we can believe that its because he is meant to be the Meat and Face of the end of the world.

Number 87:

Drunk Sam.

I love this moment, its funny but it also gives some character insight. Scared of his destiny, which funny enough he ended up falling into while he was trying not too. Anyway this moment was amusing and insightful.

Number 86:

Lady in Red.

Alien Slow Dance. Again and again and again and again and again and one more time. This moment speaks for its self.

Number 85:

You are practically the same person.

If you love or hate Jump The Shark, even if you call it 'Jaws ate the real script.' This moment here was just awesome. Burning the body of Adam and Dean practically saying the John wasn't all that fantastic is just something we don't see a lot. I have said it once I'll say it again, Dean is like Mary, Sammy is like John.

Number 84:

Polling

Dean has one year to live, so he goes and as my friends mother once said to me 'finds a hole to poke.' And Sam is trying to find a way to save him. Its just a nice little scene worthy of the number 84 spot.

Number 83

And I am no Bitch.

It's not often we see Dean interacting with a kid who he wasn't trying to save from a monster (well I know in the episode he was but at this moment he wasn't Ok? Good.) It not often we see Dean teaching a kid how to kick a bully in the nards.

Number 82:

Do her ear.

Bella what a bitch, but at least through that we got to meet Rufus, and his lovely interaction with Dean.

Number 81:

I am not a hunter anymore,

Now if this moment didn't brake your heart, get out of my cyber space. Probably this moment should have been higher, maybe you will debate me that it should be as the tough as nails Bobby says how he wants to die. But there are just so many moments and each need a space.

Anyway, this week I will do a review to Swap meat if you want to hear my thoughts on the last episode you should listen to the Crossroads a Supernatural podcast that I love and email every week.

On Monday 8:30 AEST I will be doing a TwitCom on In the Beginning with Tiny. Hope to see you there!

Swap Kara for Amazed

Let me tell you a wonderful story. Once upon a time there was a Boy, who craved to be a man, and a man who craved a salad shake...

Well these two males swapped meat and hot in the homo-erotic sense, but he would love to have 'the sex' with you....

This episode was nothing other than awesome. We as viewers are so used to seeing Dean/Jensen as the comic actor the one with the one liners so it was amazing to see Sam/Jared stretch out his comic acting chops.

The whole idea of this episode was reminiscent of season four, mainly 'Monster'. At the twenty two minuet mark it changed from just a comical episode to something that touched on the mythos. Yes that's right I am calling Swap Meat a NON Filler episode. Anyone who disagrees with me, I will fist fight you.

But like always I am getting a bit ahead of myself. 'I would love to have the sex with you.'

I have seen the guy who played Gary before on 7th Heaven, (yes that's right I watched that show one school holidays). But this kid was pretty cool, you know for a frustrated virgin who loves Busty Asian beauties and you know worships the devil, oh wait no sorry, praying to their Dark overlord.

Lucifer is such a douche.

So is Gary's friend. 'Dark overlord', seriously? You are a tool.

Firstly let me speak of the first half of the episode. It was totally funny, had me in stiches. Sam actually having to be a normal person with parents who wanted him to get a full ride and go to college was hysterical, seeing we spent the first two seasons of Supernatural with him complaining that John should have been proud and so on.

The grass is always greener isn't it Sammy?

However I am a bit surprised in Dean's turn around, thinking about having a wife and kids. Someones getting clucky.

Now every now and again I read other fans points of views on different episodes of Supernatural, and while I talk about the other half of the episode I will touch on a couple of things that people said that, lets just say ticked me off.

One of them being how come it took Dean so long to figure out the fact that Sam was actually Gary... hmm I donno Maybe because it's not the first time they have acted strangely with each other, maybe its because of the fact just because you were seeing Gary in Sam's clothes Dean was seeing Sam. And seriously how many times would they have come across a Freaky Friday remake? And lets all remember he wouldn't expect Demon possession because of those kick ass tattoos.

However I did love the way it clicked with Dean that something wasn't right with Sam. The fact Sam was drinking with him and said how Dean really is a good person. Almost heart braking stuff here.

So Gary's friends Kidnapped Sam as Garry and tied him up and explained how they pray to Lucifer. I know teenagers, what idiots. (I can say that now I am 20.)

Now side note, you stupid person who said 'How could two teenagers get Sam off guard and carry his muscular body in broad day light?' Let me explain. What the directors did here is they showed the viewer Sam in Gary's world and Gary in Sam's world. They did this so that we wouldn't get confused. Clearly they did not expect you to be as dumb as you clearly are... but let me move on.

While Sam is in the basement we find out that this funny episode is going to show us that its not just a filler (cause baby it isn't). The demons have put the word out to every Witch bitch and Satanic lover in America that they need Dean Winchester Dead. So the demons have done something similar to what the Angels did in the end. So now Dean is going to have to be watching out, not only for the Angels who want him to drop the soap, not only for Lucifer and the horsemen, but every Voldemort wannabe.

We also find out that Sam's soul doesn't need to be in his body for Lucifer to jump it. So Sam could swap with Dean and Sam as Dean could say yes to Michael and that would be all cool...

I am not sure how I like that, I think maybe the demon didn't really understand the whole vessel thing. But who knows.

Just something I would like to touch on before I pull this review to a close, the human devil trap between Gary and Dean. AWESOME. And I am pretty sure it's the first time we have ever seen Dean exorcise a demon.

I loved Gary's 'My Bad'. Ahh understatement.

Anyway this episode has to be a Solid 4/5. Can not wait till next weeks episode. I love time travel.

So do you agree with my review?

Colour me Spoiled (as its Australia Day those colours are green and gold)

Happy Australia Day everyone.... But at the risk of sounding 'UnAustralian' I will say 'Screw that! Major Supernatural Spoiler for us to mull over like the mulls we are.'

SPOILER BABY SPOILER ENTER IF YOU WANT TOO!!!!!

Kristin from
E!Online has posted and like always I feel the need to say, OH MY GOD!

Marissa in Tbilisi, Georgia: Any news on Supernatural? What's going on with that show?

Kristin: Oh, nothing much. Hey, does anybody remember that song "Even Angels Fall" from the 10 Things I Hate About You movie soundtrack? Well, you might want to queue it up, because you're going to need it as the soundtrack for tear-stained Supernatural lamentation fanvids after the episode two weeks hence. I can't spoil what happens outright, but the first person to guess it right in the comments gets a cookie and a hug. In other, better SPN news, Sam and Dean's long-lost half-brother from the season four episode "Jump the Shark," the awesome but dead Adam Milligan (Jake Abel), comes back to play a pivotal role in an upcoming episode.

Kara's Thoughts:

Oh my William Shatner! (He's God remember?) Anyway What the Hell! Why must I be going back to work soon? Why can't I just sit on the Supernatural websites and Find the answer that I am looking for? Ha who am I kidding its not like I work at work... but I digress

Holy Hell! Adam is back? After the mixed reactions Jump the Shark had I never thought we would see Adam back, but I have a theory my faithful subjects. It wouldn't be a day without a Kara theory. We all know 100th episode is coming up, and we all know Adam is dead, and we know when it comes to 100th episodes shows tend to like to have call backs to the main points in the show mythos ect (like in How I met your mother it had Ted meeting the mothers room mate). Anyway maybe Michael comes to Dean in the vision of Adam.

Before you stab me with pitchforks, let me explain. Can't you see Dean having a snooze (cause sleeping hunters is how Angel's like to interact with them) and Adam is there. Dean is like 'WTF' and its like 'Hey Dean, you didn't save me, your own brother but you could save Sam.' You know Michael pulling on the brother strings.

Or maybe he will turn up in 'Dead men don't wear plaid' or MAYBE he could turn up in the same Episode that DocBadass Ash. Maybe in the episode where they go to heaven. Hell, if Sam is the Vessel for Lucifer and Dean is for Michael, maybe Adam is a vessel for someone too... Can angel's possess the dead?

Anyway moving along to point two - In two weeks time I will be reaching for my tissues. Now I am presuming this is the episode '
Back to the future 2'. Maybe Mary says or does something, maybe she kills Anna (which I donno how sad the fan girls would be with that) or maybe Cas has to do something. I am not too sure about that one. But If I am wrong and it is My bloody Valentine, Then I am stumped. Because we know Cas cant die until the last episode (if he kicks the bucket at all), and we know Bobby cant die because he's in 'Dead men don't wear plaid.'

Damn you spoilers! You win this time!

John Winchester, The Man, The Myth.

While doing my 100-1 Moments of Supernatural (first video can be seen here, and first blog post explaining the moments can be found here) I saw a lot of John moments, and references to John.

John Winchester has only really been in a hand full of episodes and yet he gets as much love as the main characters, and rightly so, he is after all the Boys father an awesome hunter and a fascinating character. Not to mention Jeffrey Dean Morgan plays him brilliantly.

I thought it might be good to place down some theories I have about Papa Winchester and some of the major things he has done.

'If you can't save Sam, you have to kill him'.

What a lovely request for a father to make to his son. Now during the Fourth Season that sediment was brought up again, mainly in the voicemail message that either the Angel's or that Bitch manipulated. But I think us as a viewers and even the Winchester boys have misinterpreted John's words. From repeat viewing and watching the amazing fifth season, I think it was John saying 'Dean, you have to say yes to Michael, you have to do it to save your brother.'

This might seem as if I am making John out to be the mystical oracle of all things Supernatural and End of the world related, but lets think about it. Yellow Eyes said to John in 'In my time of dying' "You know the truth about Sammy and the special children" to which John answers "I have known for a while."

Now I might be reading too much into a small exchange of words between a Hunter and its Pray (take that as you will). It also brings up the question of How much did John know?

Did he know that they would have Battle of the Psychic Kids? That the winner would open up the doors of Hell? Did he know that doing that would cause Lilith to walk around like the grand pumba? Did he know that the winner of the Battle grand royal would then consume more demon blood to get stronger? Did he know that the winner would then kill Lilith and start the end of the world? Did he know that the psychic kid would then intern become the Vessel of Lucifer?

Or did he know straight off the bat that Sam was going to be the Vessel of Lucifer and Dean the Vessel of Michael? Is that why he trained them up and left Adam (the third brother) off to play monopoly?

He was able to last 100 years in Hell without braking.

We all know that's true, but like everything Supernatural I have a theory about it. I think that John knew what braking would mean. He knew that if he was to draw blood in hell then the shit would hit the Apocalyptic fan. My theory is if you knew caving into Hell would mean the end of the world and the rolls your sons had to take you could pretty much survive anything.

Maybe he knew that when the big Cheese Yellow eyes was to bite it he would be set free from the deal? Would that be why he summoned Yellow eyes instead of a typical Crossroads demon?

I would love to know what you all think about my theories and the questions I have posed. Do you think everything we are finding out now John Winchester knew all along? Or was John Winchester all talk and no knowledge?

100-91 Moments In Supernatural served with a big bowl of Pudding

The first of many videos have hit the web today showing the Top 100 moments of Supernatural. This week its moments 100-91.

Ok so a little explanation on why I chose each of these moments.

Moment 100 - Pudding

I know its a new moment in the Supernatural world as I right this. But some fans have already deemed this as the funniest moment in Supernatural history. Bit of an over statement in my mind but I cant deny it made me laugh, and the flesh slapping sound effect will haunt my dreams. Although I don't believe this moment was the funniest it was funny and needed with in the episode, even more so knowing how much the feel of the episode changed after that moment.

Moment 99 - Dad raised us as Warriors

This moment I found hard placing as it was the first moment we ever really saw the interaction between the two brothers. At first I thought I should put it higher, like in the middle of the pack but then I decided against that, obviously. It wasn't a partiuclar Heart braking, or funny, or jaw dropping but it did show us the start of Sam's issues with John and the Winchester back story.

Moment 98 - Dream a little dream of Jess

This dream really touched me. It was the start of seeing the guilt that is a major focal point for really the whole series. It was called upon in 'When the levee brakes' in season for. There is a moment later on that explains why Sam was riddled with so much guilt. Plus when I first started to watch Supernatural the moment where the hand pops out of the ground made me jump so high the people I was watching it with laughed at me. So it also holds a personal connection to me as well.

Moment 97 - The Case of the Mistaken Sexuality

A running gag through out the whole series. I don't know what else to say about this I am pretty sure its placement and reasoning is self explanatory.

Moment 96 - The Chief

That was a stand out moment in an otherwise weak episode. Maybe that is why I look upon this moment so kindly. Or maybe its Dean's reaction to the question of the Safe word.

Moment 95 - The Roadhouse crew

One of the best additions to the Supernatural family. They brought a sense of family and a mother figure to the Winchester boys. Not to mention Ash supplied the boys with vital information during season two, even after his death.

Moment 94 - Angel on Angel

This moment was amazing, and probably should have been seen as a higher moment in the list as Uriel revelation of wanting to bring Lucifer from his cage so they can have a family reunion and a scone. Plus angel fights are pretty damn sweet.

Moment 93 - Dean Eating

A reader wanted to have Dean's eating moments. And I could show every time Dean eats but I chose to do one that showed the hunter in Dean that no matter how disgusting the topic gets he still fills his gut. Mmm pie.

Moment 92 - It's for you.

Dean one liner, need I say more?

Moment 91 - I'll Rip his lungs out

I loved this moment in 'After School Special'. I love the bond that Sam and Dean have before everything. Before Ruby, before Jess, before Hell and before John's death. It also showed how Sam desired to be normal over everything.

Stay tuned Next week hopefully I will put up the video of Moments 90-81. You can look at my Youtube Channel here. Enjoy rate comment.

A little bit of Awesome a little bit of Rant

Just watched episode 11 of season five of Supernatural... Does anyone else feel like Pudding? Hehe

Ok There will be no review for this episode until I watch it again, but I cant post a blog the day Supernatural comes back without making a reference to the newest episode.

Then if I am not writing a review, why on earth would I be posting a blog on the holiest of days?

Because of this piece of news that had just happened to stumble across my twitter. Something that I had called a while ago, so I can mark that down as a win along side with Knowing Mary was a hunter and that Snape loved Lilly Potter.

Supernatural Season Six.

Joy to the world! The article which can be read here says that 'Industry sources in Vancouver provided CinemaSpy with the tip, indicating that while the official announcement has not yet been made, behind-the-scenes it’s all but a done-deal. Today we’ve been informed that Supernatural, too, has been confirmed with another season, in this case its sixth.'

Sweet people! Now this is going to sound weird but I want it to be the last season, I am saying this only because I want to end on a high note. That being said it really depends on the story line they give us. If its just a stretch out of the Lucifer story then 6 seasons is AOk with me.

However there is a point in the article that kinda pissed me off.

'This might also explain the preponderance of stand-alone episodes already aired this year—many viewers have wondered why the writers have wasted time on these sorts of stories instead of focusing more on end of days themes and the climactic confrontation with Lucifer. '

And now we slip into the Rant portion of tonight.

Ok this kind of pisses me off when it comes to fans and in this case some writer talking about the Supernatural writers and their "Filler monster of the week episodes".

As anyone in their right mind knows that TV shows have Mythos episodes, Character episodes and Filler Episodes.

People go on and on about how season 5 has been full of fillers, and it has almost got me at the end of my rope. I personally don't believe there are actually a lot of 'Fillers' in the whole series of Supernatural. Once again this belief might just be held by me, but I digress.

Lets look at season 5 episodes and see if in reality they can be seen as fillers.

1) Sympathy for the Devil - If you think this is a filler then I will shoot you with rock salt. We met Lucifer, Lucifer's vessel. We saw the fracturing of the brothers relationship AND Dean being a Vessel.

2) Good God, Y'all - Yes because meeting the Horse Man of the freaking Apocalypse just screams filler. *Eye Roll*. This episode was totally character drive, the events that happened in this episode set up 'Free to be You and Me' and 'The End' and even to lesser degrees the rest of the season with the relationship between Sam and Dean. Which really the whole freaking Series is about.

3) Free to Be You and Me - Hmm when you go up against a Teenage Mutant Ninja Angel and find out that Sam is a vessel of the Devil it is the definition of a non-filler. This episode advanced the plot, made us understand the character of Castiel ten fold.

4) The End - All I have to say is if you possible think this is a filler then you piss me of more so than people who write e-mails in Capslock.

5) Fallen Idols - This episode was never going to be received well by fans. Even if it was Citizen Kane of the small screen. It's fatal flaw? They had Paris Hilton on it. Now never mind the fact that this episode explained partly the reason of why Sam went of with Bitch Features. Never mind that this was a massive evolution of Dean and Sam's relationship, it had Paris Hilton in it so it was a filler. If you cant tell I am being sarcastic, sure this wasn't a mythos episode but a character episode, and as the show is based around two characters then these episodes are just as important as the mythos one.

6) I Believe the Children are our Future - The Anti-Christ. Something people like Gordon had been thinking Sam was for all these years was just a small boy who still believed in the tooth fairy. Once again if you think this episode is a filler than please hold still while go Nurse Ratchet on your ass. It was an introduction to a new character a new aspect to the story. We are now left with the question on which side will Jesse be on? Good or Evil?

7) The Curious Case Of Dean Winchester - This was a character episode. Sure it wasn't the usual Sam and Dean character episodes but it was really revolved around Bobby. BOBBY! The man who's like a father to the boys. So even if you think this is a filler, remember this, what affects Bobby effects the Winchester Brothers.

8) Changing Channels - Trickster is Gabriel? If that isn't enough for you, you cynics in the audience how about confirmation that one brother has to kill the other. Yeah thought so, Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

9) The Real Ghostbusters - Ok I will admit FILLER

10) Abandon all Hope - Not a filler not in the slightest and if there's anyone who believes it is then I will round house kick you in the head. Got it?

So I am sorry theres only like ONE filler episode out of Ten. 1/10 My my the writers really must be waisting time. Whoever wrote this is a Douchebag. The Supernatural writers are amazing, and their off episodes a twenty times better than most shows best.

But all my ranting aside, YAY SEASON 6! YAY SUPERNATURAL is back!

Good Morning world of Supernatural Spoilers.

So I wake up this morning a smile on my face a song in my heart... Well no not really but if some how in this crazed world I had read what I am about to post to you while I was sleeping there would be more than a smile and a song. It would be like the freaking Sound Of Music.

Sera Gamble had an interview with TV Guide about the awesomeness of Supernatural. I have decided to pick the best bits to draw attention too.

On February 4, you’re doing a “Back to the Future” episode when Sam and Dean time travel to 1978. What are they attempting to do?

Sam and Dean go back to try to save their mom and dad—from a threat that also travels back in time from 2020—Terminator style.

Kara's Thoughts: YAY! I love time travel and flashbacks. I am pretty sure we all know who's coming back. You can never trust a red head. Hehehe.

Is it a heartbreaker?

Definitely. Sam seeing his parents is heart-wrenching—particularly his mom, because she died when he was just a baby. When he first meets her, he’s so overwhelmed he can’t even speak. But I think the most heartbreaking story is Mary’s. She’s done everything she can to leave hunting behind and have a normal life with John. But as the episode unfolds, we see her realize she can never escape.

Kara's Thoughts: I think that all that is needed is to say this, Awww. These writers are just amazing. I wonder however how she will interact with the Angels. I hope we see some Dean like temper from her, maybe calling them Douches or something.

For Valentine’s Day you have “My Bloody Valentine,” airing February 11, with a Cupid. This being Supernatural, what kind of havoc does he or she create?

Well, for starters, he shows up stark naked and gunning for hugs! Sam and Dean are investigating a series of gory murder/suicides—all people who were desperately in love. They suspect the culprit may be the supernatural being who made the matches to begin with—a Cupid [played by Southland’s Lex Medlin] gone rogue. So they capture and interrogate him. All I can say is, he is a very loving dude. It's hilarious.

Kara's Thoughts: Ok this is going to be HI-LARIOUS! First of all lets just think about how the Winchester's will react to a naked man wanting to give them hugs. I cant wait for that. It will give me something nice on a day that I normally hate. Bravo Supernatural.

Anything else you can tease?

The search for God will soon yield a solid lead. The Archangel Michael will be introduced. We will answer the question, “What does Castiel act like when he's drunk off his ass?” And the brothers will go to Heaven. Yes, actual Heaven.

Kara's Thoughts: Drunk Cas - Always a plus. Solid Lead on God? Maybe they were watching Re-runs of Boston Legal and thought hmm that William Shatner seems God like. Heaven! Also I am thinking Michael should come to Dean in the form of Collin Ford (who plays little Sam) cant you just see him going 'Dean say yes so Lucifer can stay away from me.) Ahh I think I speak for every SPN nerd when I say YAY Supernatural is coming back!

On a Side note I am working away on the 100 moments of Supernatural. Its a massive task but once I am done putting everything in order I will probably be putting up a vid of 10 moments a week or two vids a week depending on timing. With Each Video there will be a blog post going with it explaining why I chose those moments. Also in the week of the 100th Episode I will try and do something awesome.

Supernatural Season 6?

Well it feels like Christmas has come early... late? What do you say when something good happens in the beginning of the year when Christmas was only a couple of weeks a go? Do you say Easter has come early?

Well no matter what I say things are looking good for us Supernatural Fans.

Eric Kripke is warming to the idea of a sixth season of Supernatural!

There is a God after all, I wonder if Cas had found him?

Moving along as mentioned here Dawn Ostroff talks about how she had lunch with the Master Eric who seems to be warming up to the idea of Season Six. Which is no big news here but he isn't running low on Ideas.

So what would you like to see in a Season Six?

Personally I would love to see this Lucifer story line stretching out. Maybe season Five will end with Sam and Dean saying yes, then season six will be set like 5 months later and Sam/Dean are themselves again and they have no idea what happened and so they have to find out if the Apocalypse is over and how their angels left them. Dun dun dunnnn

If Eric likes that idea I am prepared to leave my job and come work with you. I will even pay for my own plane ticket over.

Southern Vampires - True Blood

This summer for Christmas I got the first three books of the Sookie Stackhouse Southern Vampire series also known as True Blood. You know True blood that TV show on HBO where there is always a sex scene and dropping the F Bomb like its going out of fashion? So I read them and then I finished reading what is left of the series.

Now... hmm...

After reading the Twilight series two years ago I was a bit over vampires. They always follow the same format. Human Girl falls in love with an Immortal vampire who does not like the fact he's a vampire, then someone comes and there is a love triangle and some blood shed and presto changeo the story is finished.

It's a bit like TV family Sitcoms having a man marrying a woman that in real life would never look twice at him and they have three children. Normally the oldest is extremely stupid, a girl that has guys chasing after her and the youngest which is a little quirky.

The True Blood books are in some respects better than Twilight - if only for the fact the story isn't based around an emo teenage bitch called Bella and her stalker boyfriend Edward. The True Blood books kind of stay with the same kind of mythos with vampires that we have seen over the years.

Silver burns.
Sunlight practically sets them on fire (your kidding they dont glitter like vampires with gay pride?)
Fire is fatal
And to kill a vamp all you have to do is stake them.

Sure Sookie is a massive MarySue but I don't think that is really a problem. Lets think of this rationally, you don't read books on Supernatural aspects for their reality factor. It's something I have argued with Harry Potter fans and fans of every Supernatural/Paranormal/Fantasy books tv shows and movies.

What this Book series does is give an escape from reality. They are extremely easy to read (read all 9 books with in a week and a bit). But you can tell from about the third book that the author was just making this up as it went along. I don't think the author ever expected that her books would be wanted to be extended as much as they were.

The author also introduces a crazy amount of characters that all have similar spelling names, and they don't have a real relevance to the story. Books like Harry Potter have a ton of characters however the difference is that the Harry Potter books are really based around the three main characters. I guess you kinda write yourself into a hole when your main characters love interest only comes out at night.

Also the dialog is a bit strange. I know I mentioned before hand how it doesn't need to be 100% realistic but the conversation didn't flow.

So in conclusion, its a fantastic read for those Hot Summer nights when you have nothing else to do and while your boycotting Channel 10 because they pulled Supernatural off the air. But it isn't like Harry Potter which will stand up to the test of time.

Sunday, January 3, 2010

Seriously?

Dear Channel 10, I would like you to pull your head out of that crevasse called your ass and put Supernatural back on the air.

... Ok me venting isn't going to change anything so lets be constructive here. What can 10 seriously do to get ratings, and to keep Supernatural on the air.

So instead of attacking the Channel 10 twitter, or lining the Channel Ten office with rock salt, or calling up our favourite Demon and his skills of persuasion lets think of this rationally. So like in the Pink song I would like to say 'Hey Mr Channel 10 guy come take a walk with me, lets pretend we are two people and your not trying to kill my favourite TV show.' (I am not that good with Lyrics)

Supernatural fans are always left wondering the fate of their show. Up until the week you announced that Channel Ten was going to air the Fifth season of Supernatural a lot of Supernatural Fans were wondering 'When am I going to be able to watch Supernatural on my TV.' Now Mr Channel 10 guy I don't think I should need to tell you just how obsessed Supernatural fans are, but in this day and age of the Internet fans are not going to wait for ages until their favourite TV show can make their way back on the air. Even more so when last year we had a major gap in the middle of the Supernatural season for the Biggest Loser. This means that they are going to get their Supernatural fix by any means necessary. Channel 10 has ignored the Supernatural fan base when in reality it shouldn't, after all fans are willing to spend the big bucks to go to a convention and we did break Twitter and scared PDiddy.

Problem - Low ratings.

Solution A- Stop mucking about your main demographic. Sure have it a week later not half a year. Let your viewers know when you are postponing episodes and don't do it so last minute that even the TV guide has that Supernatural is still going to be on air.

Solution B- Don't have it on in its time slot. Put two cult following shows together. Like Glee and Supernatural. Oh Hell even have it on a Tuesday night after NCIS - We all know how much 10 likes to shove repeats of that show down our throats.

Solution C- Don't have lame adverts or promos for Supernatural. They often say nothing about the story and give the ignorant viewer the wrong perspective of the show. I will explain it if you don't understand. Supernatural is about Two brothers trying to save the world, its seriously not that hard to eff up.

Now, now Mr Channel 10 guy don't get you panties in a bunch because I gave you three easy solutions on how to keep your viewers happy. I know I have done your job for you but seriously I wont tell anyone, just bring back Supernatural. Until then I will not be watching Channel 10 in the Monday 8:30 time slot - even if that means I have to watch Desperate Housewives.

'But Mr Channel 10 guy you would never take a walk with me...'
